There are several beautiful sandy beaches close to Le Pré d'Olonne. All beaches have a good access by car or bike. Everybody can find his preferred typ of beach here. Looking for a quiet and peacefull natural beach? Go and have a look at Plage Les Granges for example. Want to surf on the best waves of the west-coast? Discover the beach of Sauveterre. Looking for a nice beach with young children? We can recommend La Normandelière.
La Grande Plage, the big beach, in Les Sables d'Olonne with its animated boulevard, terrasses and shops is definitely worth a visit as well.

Family Play and Sports Area
Close to our apartments you can find a completely new and well equipped sport and play area. It is situated next to Indoor Sportcenter "La Redoute". You will find a City-parc with soccer and basketball, outdoor fitness and a playground with slide, table-tennis, Zipline and a "Spider" climbing structure.

Les Mercredis de l'été
Every summer, Île d'Olonne comes alive with its Summer Wednesdays, friendly and festive evenings that delight vacationers and locals alike. Open-air concerts, farmers' markets, cabaret, and entertainment for young and old alike... the atmosphere is warm, family-friendly, and decidedly summery.
The entertainment is always free, and every Wednesday is different. In early July and late August, there's even a beautiful fireworks display after the concerts.

La fête des Vieux Métiers
Every year, the Ile d'Olonne Festival Committee, L'Aspi Basket, and the Ste Anne School - Ile d'Olonne organize the Fête des Vieux Métiers (Old Trades Festival)!
Meet at the Town Hall Square on Saturday evening for a concert evening and to enjoy traditional Islais cuttlefish with family or friends, and a drink in a friendly and festive atmosphere!
Then the Islais dance floor will be yours!
On Sundays, throughout the village, and throughout the day, demonstrations of old trades, scenes from old-fashioned life, and various musical groups will enliven our beautiful village!

Les Sables d'Olonne
Les Sables d'Olonne offers lots of activities for tourists. You can of course surf, sail or dive, but there is also a big casino, a nice Zoo and a Castel-party (Talmont St. Hilaire). In and around the city center you will find the typical french weekly markets and during summertime the city organises fireworks at the boulevard. In the old citycenter you will find a lot of nice shops and along the boulevard and the port many nice restaurants with good food and fair prices. Outside the city center you also find a few big shopping malls like E.Leclerc in Olonne sur Mer.
Les Salines
The Salt Extraction Area Les Salines, is definitely worth a visit . You can have a great walk or biking tour. It is on biking distance from Le Pré d'Olonne. Do you want to know more about the history of Les Salines and do you want to learn how to create Salt?
Puy du Fou
In the famous attraction parc Puy du Fou visitors forget about the 21st century. During day and night they make an amazing trip trough time, and they choose in all freedom their favorite part of history, shows and restaurants. Puy du fou has been chosen best attraction parc of the world and offers great shows and adventures for the whole family. It is a 1 hour drive from Le Pré d'Olonne.

In Le Château d'Olonne you will find a beautifull zoo. This zoo is easy to reach and at walking distance from the beach "Tanchet" and the boulevard in Les Sables.
Le Grand Défi
At only 15 minutes by car from Le Pré d'Olonne you'll find "Le Grand Défi". They have a lot of very cool activities like lasergame, outdoor escape game, climbing trail in the treas with zip lines and paintball. All activities have different levels and are doable for kids above 2 years.
